From diagnosis to treatment.

An autism diagnosis introduces a lot of unknowns.
AIM Clinics is here to make the path to beginning
treatment as smooth as possible.

Before you enroll…

Parents often don’t realize that most insurance requires an official autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. If you aren’t sure how to start the diagnosis process, we can point you in the right direction.

What are the steps to
starting therapy?

We do our best to make the enrollment and
insurance processes easy.

Step 1

Fill out our contact form.

There’s no cost or commitment when you fill out the form. It just gives us what we need to start talking to your insurance company.

Step 2

Send us your child’s diagnosis.

It’s also helpful at this stage to provide reports from other therapies, including speech, physical or occupational therapy.

Step 3

Bring your child to a first meeting.

We’ll make sure we understand your concerns and then spend a few hours getting to know your child.

Step 4

Review your treatment plan.

Your insurance company will review and authorize our personalized treatment plan as we begin therapy.

More time, more rewards

Applied Behavior Analysis is known as an “intensive” therapy, which means the longer your child spends with us, the more progress they’ll make!

We recommend 15 hours per week for most children.

This is a big time commitment for children—and their families. To try and help, we offer in-home therapy services, flexible scheduling and a comfortable place to wait, rest or get some work done.

What will my child be doing in therapy?

AIM Clinics is a place for your child to learn—and play! We foster an environment of positivity and fun while also working very hard to empower your child as they go through life.

Each AIM session is designed around
three activity areas.

Discrete trial

We’ll work with your child
to master everyday
communication skills.

Gross motor

Your child will move around and
develop important core muscle
groups.

Natural environment

Children have an opportunity to
interact with each other and
play around in a safe place.

How can I help at home?

There’s a lot parents can do at home to reinforce what kids learn and achieve at AIM. We’re constantly building our library of resources to help you help them.
